NEW SONY ZOMBIE BIKER GAME FREEPost story, the game goes free mode, and you can finish off any side missions or hordes. I did take a few story breaks to gather a few ‘collectables’ in various regions, but this is entirely optional. Clocked in the main story at around 68 hours. Picked this up when it was on offer at Christmas, and I can’t say I didn’t get my moneysworth, because I did 5 x over. Be it the well-timed music or the ambient background noise not to mention the voice acting. Snowstorms, rainstorms and overcast days. The terrain varies depending on where you are on the huge map and the weather effects are something special. You really feel like you are in a walking dead world. Stunning graphics throughout and the atmosphere is extremely well done. They will randomly spawn at the most annoying time. Hordes are made up of hundreds of freakers but this is end game stuff so you can ignore them as you see fit. The actual difficulty spike comes from clearing the hordes and killing damn dogs. There are a few tough enemies, but you can use the environment to your advantage as appose to just unloading your ammo. On survival difficulty the game starts hard and eases off as you build your skills and pickup new weapons. These are primarily made up of rival gangs such as the Rippers and clearing out camps nets nice rewards and unlocks key points on the map. Aside from shooting freakers, there are many camps you can clear out. Out in the wild on missions the gunplay is extremely satisfying, as is the melee combat. Thankfully the RDR2 sluggishness is only tied to certain missions. Swap your horse for a bike and walk in treacle around your nearest camp. Gameplay is like a mix between RDR2 and Mad Max, both of which I loved. Personally, I enjoyed this as I was always coming across new areas to loot and take in. This obviously leads to a lot of bike riding. You will have no fast travel with this difficulty so bear that in mind. It’s fairly challenging at the beginning, but once you get your grove, you’ll be glad you picked it. The story is gripping and will keep you interested right until the end. Days Gone is a fantastic game with extremely satisfying gameplay, beautiful graphics, and an amazing soundtrack.
